How did you get started in triathlons?
I watched my brother compete in his first one and I wanted to give it a try. It looked like fun. When the Estrella Multi-Sport Club offered the first triathlon for kids here I wanted to do it with all my friends. What do you like best about triathlons? I like the running the best because I love to run and it comes naturally to me. I hope to one day run at the high school level. What is the most challenging part of triathlons? The transitions are challenging because it might be a really close race and sometimes you get confused on what you need for the next leg of the race. I just try to remember to keep going no matter what. Any final thoughts? Triathlons are a great way to stay active. You never need a ball or another team. Everyone can train for them anytime. It's not about winning, it's about having fun and trying your best. |
